- 125g dark chocolate
- 15g salted butter
- 25g self-raising flour
- ¼ tsp sea salt
- 1 egg
- 85g soft brown sugar
- 25g chopped walnuts
- 1 tbsp sea salt to sprinkle

1Preheat oven 180°C fan/ 200°C/Gas Mark 6

2Melt the chocolate and butter in the Toughened Non-Stick Frying Pan over a very low heat. Once the chocolate has nearly melted remove from the heat

3Whisk together the brown sugar and egg for 5 minutes until thick and foamy.

4Add the chocolate mixture to the eggs and sugar, whisking continuously.

5Fold in the flour, salt, and walnuts.

6Place the mixture in the fridge for 30 minutes.

7To make 6 cookies place 6 dessert spoons of mixture evenly spaced on the Small Baking Tray and press gently. Do not flatten.

8Sprinkle a little sea salt over each cookie and bake for 8 minutes. The cookies will be soft with a slight crust on top.

9Leave a few minutes and then place on a cooling wire.

10Repeat stage 6-8 to use the remaining cookie dough.
The cookies can be made without the walnuts if desired, and plain flour may be used instead of self-raising - just add ¼ tsp baking powder.
