Chocolate and Orange Pudding
A deliciously indulgent chocolate orange pudding that’s easy to make and perfect as an after-dinner treat.

  • 175g Self-raising flour
  • 25g Cocoa
  • 1tsp Baking powder
  • 200g Softened butter
  • 200g Sugar
  • 4 Eggs, beaten
  • 1 Orange zest and juice, plus 2 oranges, sliced
  • 1tbsp Golden syrup
  • Method

    Preheat an oven to 165°C fan assisted / 185°C / Gas Mark 5
  • 2
    Place the flour, cocoa, baking powder, butter, sugar, eggs, orange juice, orange zest and golden syrup in a bowl and beat with an electric mixer for 2 minutes.

    Arrange the sliced oranges around the inside of the 3-ply Stainless Steel 20cm Chef’s Pan.

    Pour the smooth cake mixture into the pan and place in the oven to bake for 60 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean.

    Leave the pudding for 5 minutes and invert onto a plate.

    Serve warm with fresh cream.
