The LM–400 Lever Model is the only corkscrew to incorporate Screwpull’s patented rotation technology. This technology has been specifically designed for removing all types of corks, including plastic corks.
It’s so quick and simple to use – 2 quick lever actions and the cork is out of the bottle –2 more and the cork is pushed out of the corkscrew! Simply the best ever Lever Model from Screwpull.
After opening approximately 2,000 bottles the coated screw may show signs of wear, making the Lever Model slightly more difficult to use. It is then necessary to replace the screw.
Place the LM–400 on a flat, stable surface. Lift the lever arm up & over (270 degrees), so that the screw retainer cap can be seen from the top.
Release the screw by turning the screw retainer cap counter clockwise 90 degrees with a screwdriver. (This releases the locking pins).
Keep the lever arm at 90 degrees and turn the LM400 upside down so that the head cap and screw come out.
Place LM–400 back onto a flat surface with the lever arm up and over and place the new screw back into position.Return the screw retainer cap into position and lock in place with a clockwise turn.
